1. Meet the system requirements.

Your computer must have the following

For EZ Pass and CrashCourse . . .

. . . your computer must also have the following.

2. Log in

A. If you do not have a username and password, call 1-800-416-1996 and say, "I'm a Cyber Student and need a counselor."
B. Click the Login button.

C. Type your username and press the Tab key.
D. Type your password and press the Enter key.

Your choice of courses appears.


3. Select and navigate your courses

If you signed up for Cyber Study, click the Cyber Study button.

Two tabs appear: the Qualification tab and the Continuing Ed tab. Use the following steps for each tab.

A. Under the Quiz Name heading, Click "GO" to take each quiz.
B. Under the Final Name heading, Click "GO" to take each final.
Note: The allotted time must pass before you can take the final. See rules and regulations (http://executiveprograms.com/rules.php).

If you signed up for Target Test Prep, click the Target Test Prep button.

A table of contents with 7 sections appears.

A. Choose the section you need to work on. You see 5 questions per page.
B. Read the question, and then click the answer you think is correct. If you select the right answer, the answer highlights in green. If you select the wrong answer it highlights in blue and the right answer highlights in Green.
C. Repeat a page you have done before, and the answers no longer highlight. This lets you test your knowledge.
D. In each section, read the gray area along the top of the page to see the following.

1) the section you are in
2) the number of questions in the section
3) the number of questions attempted
4) how many were correctly answered
5) your score as a percentage of correctly answered questions

E. Take each section as many times as you wish.
F. Study the material until you score 90% or better.

If you signed up for EZ Pass, click the EZ Pass button.

A. Control the video. Point to the area below the video to view the video controls. Use the controls to Pause, Play, Rewind, or to adjust the Volume.
B. Use the headings across the top.

1) Read the Section number at the upper left to see the current section. Point to the section number to see the section title.
2) Type a question number into the box and click Go to view previous questions. Click Go to again to jump back to the current question (Notice the number of the current question automatically appears in the box).
3) Click Home to return to the table of contents.
4) Always click Logout to quit your study session for the day.
5) Point to the Statistics heading to view the total number of question, the number of questions completed, the number question remaining, and the elapsed time.
6) Click the forward or back arrows ( , ) to jump to the next or previous questions.

C. Understand the quiz area. Answer a question after or while the instructor talks. After you answer 5 questions, you must perform a 5-question test before you go to the next question.
D. Click in the NOTES box below the quiz area to make notes to yourself. Type whatever helps you remember key points, or anything to strengthen your learning experience. Notes remain in place whenever you re-visit the question, even after you log out.

If you signed up for CrashCourse Pass, click the CrashCourse button.

A. Click to download the PDF file for each chapter, or download the complete CrashCourse guide. Print these downloaded PDF files, so you can use them while you watch the videos.
B. To launch the video instruction, select a chapter from the list.
C. To view a chapter guide, select a .PDF file to the right of each chapter section.
D. Inside the video instruction, click the button to move to the next chapter.
E. Click the button to return to the chapter list.
F. Click the button to end your session.

 

4. Solve any browser problems

Problems you may have are sometimes related to your web browser.

AOL
If you have problems when using AOL, do the following.

A. Click the minimize button (-) in the upper right corner.
B. Minimize anything behind the AOL screen.
C. Open Internet Explorer. Delete everything in the address area and enter www.cyberstudy.cc to open the Executive Programs website.
D. Click the Login button to log in.

Mozilla Firefox
Set the pup-up blocker settings as follows.

A. From the menus click Tools, then Options.
B. In the left pane, select Web Features.
C. Check Block Popup Windows. Or, select Allowed Sites and add executiveprograms.com in the Address of websites input box and select Allow.

Netscape
After you go to executiveprograms.com, you will find the site listed under Options, Site controls, Site list tab, My Setting, Site Domain. In the Master Settings dialog box select I Trust This Site.

Opera
To make changes to pop-up, cookies and plug-ins, click the Tools menu, then Quick preferences.

 

5. Turn off pop-up blockers or allow executiveprograms.com

A. In your web browser, turn off pop-up blockers, or add executiveprograms.com to the list of sites to allow. For example, in Internet Explorer, in the Pop-up blocker settings, enter executiveprograms.com in the Address of website to allow input box.
B. If you have reputable standalone pop-up blocker software, it will have settings to let you allow executiveprograms.com. Freeware or open source pop-up blocker software is not recommended, because it may be spyware or adware posing as pop-up blocker software.

6. Use the forward and back arrows inside the program

Always use the forward and back arrows provided inside the Executive Programs learning environment to navigate the material.


7. Protect your computer

A. Use anti-virus software. This protects you from spyware and adware that can slow your computer. Keep your anti-virus software up to date.
B. Keep your system updated. Run automatic updates for your operating system whenever available.

8. Log out

When you are done learning for the day, please click the Log out button.
